A crowd gathered at the Regent Hong Kong hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui during the morning after word spread of Ronaldo’s rumoured arrival.
The Portuguese had boarded a flight departing Riyadh late on Wednesday alongside his Al-Nassr teammates, sources told the Post.
Their flight faced a slight weather-enforced delay en route, sources said.
Al-Nassr are playing in the Saudi Super Cup, which is being staged in Hong Kong and begins next week, while Ronaldo himself has opened a museum in the city.

David Chan, a 38-year-old accountant from Hong Kong, was among the crowd of about 50 fans waiting outside the luxury hotel.
