Many recent college graduates, who excelled academically, now find themselves struggling in China’s tough job market. With very few job opportunities available, some are forced to work as food delivery drivers or in sales, earning such low wages that they can barely support themselves. Others rely on their parents’ retirement funds to get by. This is how the term “unfinished children” came about.
