The Coca-Cola company has agreed to use cane sugar in its iconic Coke drink in the United States, President Donald Trump said on July 16.
In a post on his Truth Social platform, Trump said he had been speaking to the beverage company about its Coke products. The president is a long-time fan of Diet Coke, with numerous photographs showing him drinking from its famous silver-label bottles.
“I have been speaking to Coca-Cola about using REAL Cane Sugar in Coke in the United States, and they have agreed to do so,” Trump wrote. “I’d like to thank all of those in authority at Coca-Cola. This will be a very good move by them—You’ll see. It’s just better!”…
