On the afternoon of May 18th, around 2:50 p.m., Wang Likun used a false student ID to participate in a TOEIC exam held in Itabashi, Tokyo. He is suspected of impersonating another person to take the exam. At the time, Wang had a miniature microphone hidden inside his mask, which he used to send answers to other candidates. He was immediately arrested by the Tokyo Metropolitan Police.
