The attraction, dubbed Universe Fantasy Land, is situated in the Hebei province of northern China.
Its so-called “Mount Fuji”, playfully referred to as the “snow cap matcha volcano” by some, has gone viral after numerous visitors shared photos of the hill.
The attraction was envisioned as a fairy tale landscape, featuring a mountain, a shimmering lake, lush green grass, a white horse, and a charming wooden cottage, all aimed at enticing urban dwellers from the capital city, Beijing, who are eager for an escape from the pressures of work and daily life.

However, many visitors drawn by the picturesque images reported feeling “scammed”, as the “mountains” turned out to be nothing more than modest hills.
