An 11-year-old boy in central China, who skilfully braids his toddler sister’s hair each day and has invented over 300 unique styles in just one year, has become a sensation on mainland social media.

The siblings, known by the surname Huang, live in Zhuzhou of Hunan province and have garnered significant attention online as their mother frequently shares their heartwarming interactions on a popular social media platform.
Most of these videos showcase the brother expertly braiding his three-year-old sister’s hair, a task he claims to genuinely enjoy, as reported by Yantai TV.
Before each braiding session, the boy typically sprinkles a little water on his sister’s hair using a watering pot, ensuring it is easier to weave. During the braiding process, he occasionally nips the comb with his mouth rather than placing it on the table, reminiscent of a seasoned hairdresser, as shown in the viral videos.
Before him lies a box filled with vibrant rubber bands and barrettes.

While her brother is absorbed in his task, the little girl, often seen clutching a bottle to sip milk, appears to thoroughly relish his “service”.
