In the early morning of June 21st at 3:50 AM, a sudden collapse occurred near Jinli West Road on the Chengdu Metro Line 13, which was under construction. Judging from preliminary photos and videos from the scene, a large sinkhole roughly 12 meters long and 6 to 7 meters deep formed. Cracks were also discovered in the ground of a nearby residential area. Currently, there are no reports of casualties.
