Huanggang Village in Shenzhen is widely recognized as a wealthy village, and it used to be famously known as the “Mistress Village.” Back in the day, the village was full of beautiful women. Their boyfriends were mostly businessmen, white-collar workers, and truck drivers who traveled between Hong Kong and Shenzhen. At its peak, Huanggang Village had around 50,000 mistresses.
