China’s Military Turns on Xi Jinping! No One Left to Trust, Two-Thirds of Generals Purged

Neil Thomas, a researcher at the Asia Society Policy Institute, pointed out that this was the lowest attendance rate since China’s reform and opening-up began in 1978. Among the 205 full members, only 168 attended, while 37 were absent. This included 10 civilian officials and 27 from the military system. In other words, the absence of military members accounted for two-thirds of the total absences. This situation is extremely rare in CCP history, almost equivalent to the military system being “half paralyzed.”
