China’s Highways Paralyzed, Instantly Become EV Parking Lots, Charging Stations Packed Till Night

Due to the rapid increase in car ownership in China far exceeding the capacity of its roads, traffic congestion during holidays has become a significant issue. This year’s National Day holiday saw a record number of travelers, with highway traffic volumes reaching unprecedented levels.

Preliminary statistics indicate that over 5,000 vehicles were affected, with the traffic jam lasting for several hours.
