China’s Drones Overheat, 4 Warships Fail Before Battle, Pakistan Rejects China’s Cooperation

The relationship between China and Pakistan was once celebrated as a close and unbreakable bond, with Pakistan affectionately referred to as “Batie,” or “Iron Brother.” When China faced difficulties, Pakistan was always expected to come to the rescue. However, by the winter of 2025, Pakistan surprised many by shifting its drone purchases toward Turkish products. The Pakistani Air Force (PAF) began acquiring large quantities of Turkish-made TB2 “Bayraktar” drones, known for their battlefield reliability, along with the more advanced Akinci drones. Furthermore, plans were made to set up local production lines in Pakistan, including deep technology transfers. In the past, Chinese drones like the “Rainbow” and “Wing Loong” series dominated the Pakistani military’s fleet. Now, however, these Chinese drones appear to be losing ground.
