On March 7, 2026, Iran’s air force and navy suffered near-total destruction in a matter of hours. At Tehran’s Mehrabad Airport, 16 military aircraft from the Qods Force were engulfed in flames; meanwhile, 42 Iranian warships were sunk in the southern naval base of Bandar Abbas and surrounding waters. Iranian air defenses fired missiles indiscriminately, but failed to hit any targets, only watching as their bases were reduced to scrap metal. This is the brutal reality of modern warfare.
