On March 18, Consumer Reports magazine’s official Weibo account published a test report showing that of 13 soy sauces claiming “zero additives” sent for testing by a third-party, 12 were found to contain cadmium, and 7 contained arsenic. Only one did not contain these two heavy metals. Among them, “Qianhe 380-Day Soy Sauce” was detected with cadmium levels of 0.0110mg/kg, ranking fourth among the 13 tested soy sauces.
