China Trembles as Japan Takes Action! Mid-Range Missiles Deployed 300km from China on Island Base

Due to Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi’s “Taiwan contingency” remarks, tensions between Japan and China continue to rise. On November 23, Japan’s Defense Minister, Shinjirō Koizumi, personally visited the military base on Yonaguni Island, the westernmost island of the Ryukyu Islands, to inspect the deployment of Japan’s Type-03 medium-range surface-to-air missile system. Yonaguni Island is less than 110 kilometers from Taiwan, which is roughly the same distance from Beijing to Tianjin. This move essentially places Taiwan under Japan’s missile “umbrella.”
