China influencer gains 2.8 million followers in a day for tossing pancakes like basketball

A Chinese influencer who runs a scallion pancake stall and is famous for his unique technique which resembles shooting a basketball has attracted 2.8 million followers in just one day.

Jump Shot Brother, from Fushun, Liaoning province, northeastern China, is a street vendor and now has nearly 8 million followers across the internet.

His profile says: “Specialised in various kinds of food made from flour and popular all over China, such as oil-less pancakes, scallion pancakes, and crispy sauce-flavoured pancakes.”

His account features a series of videos where he skillfully takes out the freshly prepared cooked pancakes then spins and cuts them adeptly.

Then, instead of bagging the pancake in a normal way, he tosses it accurately into a small plastic bag, resembling doing a basketball jump shot, all while casually chatting with customers at his stall.
