Following the dismissal of AVIC’s former chairman Tan Ruisong in August last year, the company’s general manager Hao Zhaoping and deputy general manager Yang Wei were removed from their positions on January 18. Yang Wei, known as the “Father of the J-20,” was its chief designer.
