China’s health authorities have reported 522,000 COVID-19 cases in July, a sixfold percent increase from June, in the latest monthly report, as the COVID-19 epidemic continues to escalate in mainland China. Experts who spoke with The Epoch Times suspect the situation is worse, as local Chinese doctors and residents find more unreported cases.
Data released on Aug. 13 by China’s Center for Disease Control and Prevention (China CDC) regarding the epidemic in July recorded 522,000 new confirmed cases.
