The CCP has notified the Japanese side of its intention to remove previously installed buoys near the Diaoyu Islands (Senkaku Islands in Japanese). Chinese state media have remained silent on the matter, and people living in mainland China are almost entirely unaware of this news. However, along with the announcement of visa-free entry to China for Japanese passport holders, this marks a significant moment: the CCP has officially capitulated and shown submission to Japan.
