China actress, 54, wins UK dance competition, prompting many to seek fitness tips

A 54-year-old actress from China has claimed third place at a prestigious international dancing competition, earning immense admiration from mainland internet users for her dedication to staying fit and healthy.

At the annual Blackpool Dance Festival held in Britain in May, Wang Lin and her dancing partner Evgeny Moshenin secured the third position in the Teacher-Student group for their impressive foxtrot performance.

The festival is recognised as the world’s most renowned annual ballroom dance competition, and the category in which Wang competed pairs a professional dancer with an amateur.

Wang is widely known in China as “Aunt Snow” due to her memorable role in the TV series Romance in the Rain, which aired two decades ago.
