Chengdu-born Bella Dai, a Singapore permanent resident, shared the details of her bounty and dating criteria on her Instagram account (@bellzdai) in February.
In her post, the 29-year-old wrote, “I am looking for a life partner that embodies the following qualities”, listing criteria such as being a straight, Singapore-based man aged 25 to 42, possessing a “mastery in his craft”; having an interest in wellness and fitness; showing the “courage to face difficult conversations”; and being open to exploring spirituality for self-development.
One catch: she will only pay up if the introduction results in a committed relationship lasting at least six months.

Dai, a former industrial designer who is the founder of a wellness company, told The Straits Times that a conversation with a friend inspired her to apply business principles to her personal life, leading her to create the bounty.

“I realised the struggle we have with finding a relationship is the search. None of my friends join dating apps because the intent of people on those is very unpredictable,” she said.
