The summit, held in Tokyo from December 19 to 20, marked the first-ever meeting of leaders from Japan and the five Central Asian nations. The attendees adopted the “Tokyo Declaration” and signed over 150 documents. These agreements cover both public and private sectors and include strengthening supply chains for critical minerals. They also agreed to develop a “Caspian Sea International Transport Route,” referred to as the Caspian Route.
