It’s no longer uncommon to see uncivilized behavior from Chinese people. Recently, in Japan, there have been frequent “Simplified Chinese warnings,” with Japanese people using a “unique font” to express their dislike of the rudeness of Chinese people.
In July this year, a Chinese netizen shared an experience on social media about staying in an Airbnb in Osaka, Japan. They posted a photo showing a notice in four languages (English, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese) reminding guests to keep quiet at night. However, the Chinese version, written in Simplified Chinese, said, “Please keep quiet after 9 PM,” while the English, Japanese, and Korean versions all stated, “Please keep quiet after 11 PM.”
