The force said on Saturday it arrested two 22-year-old men on suspicion of murder and wounding, and a 20-year-old woman over conspiracy to wound in Tin Shui Wai, Tsing Yi and Yuen Long the day before.
Of the suspects arrested so far, four men have been charged, and another four released on bail. The woman suspect was still being held for further questioning.
The nine were suspected to be involved in the attack on a 24-year-old man, who later died, and a 28-year-old man, who sustained back and arm injuries, early on Wednesday, in an assault believed to have resulted from long-standing grievances and entanglements.
Seven or eight masked attackers wielding knives appeared from four black vehicles and assaulted the pair near the Hi Yip Factory Building on Wang Yip Street West in Yuen Long before they fled the scene.
