Since its establishment in 2016, the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) has approved more than $68 billion for over 360 projects across 40 economies, of which $38.4 billion has been disbursed, even as the bank seeks to expand its market reach and capitalise on investor demand for climate adaptation projects.
