A Real-Life Apocalypse Unfolds in China With 13-Level Winds, Heavy Rain, and Over 110°F Heat

At around 4 p.m. on July 6, powerful force winds swept through Shiyan City in Hubei Province.
The streets were thrown into chaos as strong winds overturned safety barriers, uprooted trees, and snapped streetlights in an instant. Debris and construction materials were blown through the air. Sheets of metal hit the ground, plastic panels and advertisements flew through the sky, and pedestrians fled in panic while cars slammed on their brakes to avoid flying objects. The scene resembled something straight out of a disaster movie.
