On February 10, a man in his 30s entered a bank in Gijang-gun, Busan, South Korea, wearing a scarf and hat, reported the news outlet Hankook Ilbo.
He was carrying a travel bag and had made his way to the second floor of the building housing the bank.
The man then took out a black plastic bag, raised it to signal he was armed, and shouted loudly: “Get down on your knees!”
At the time, there were about seven members of staff and several customers at the bank counter, and the frightened customers began to scream in panic.

The man then blocked the entrance, approached the counter, rolled out his travel bag, and demanded that the staff fill it with 50,000 Korean won (US$34) bills, the country’s highest denomination banknotes.
