At least 30 people are missing after a landslide in southwestern China on Saturday, according to state media.

The landslide occurred in the village of Jinping in Sichuan province at around 11.50am, burying at least 10 houses, state broadcaster CCTV reported. The village is part of the city of Yibin.
The Ministry of Emergency Management has sent rescue teams to the site.
Chinese President Xi Jinping has ordered “every effort to search for those who went missing and to minimise casualties”.
