“The draw will carry a snowball of HK$150 million and the First Division Prize Fund is estimated to reach HK$188 million for a single HK$10 winning unit,” the Hong Kong Jockey Club said.

“It will be a record-high dividend payout for a HK$10 winning unit, as well as the largest Chinese New Year Snowball in history.”

Tickets for the Chinese New Year Snowball lottery will be available after the draw on January 25.

To usher in the Year of the Snake, the Club will also offer HK$20.8 million in prize money at the Chinese New Year Raceday on January 31, as the Triple Trio, Quartet and First 4 merged pool will be topped up from the Jackpot Reserve.
