Tse announced his “Evolution Nic Live” shows on social media on Wednesday in a video of himself playing guitar at the stadium. The concerts will take place at Kai Tak Stadium on April 25 and 26 at 7.30pm, with ticket prices starting at HK$680.
He will also be the first Chinese singer to hold concerts at the venue, playing just weeks after British rock band Coldplay performs there on April 8, 9, 11 and 12.
Taiwan’s “King of Mandopop” Jay Chou is also set to perform at the stadium for three consecutive nights from June 27 to 29.
The park, the city’s first multipurpose sports, entertainment and leisure precinct, will officially open in March, with the Hong Kong Sevens rugby tournament the first event fully open to the public.
