Three people were injured, including a driver left trapped in his seat, when a shuttle bus serving a luxury estate in southern Hong Kong slammed into a lamp post on Sunday evening.

Police said the shuttle bus crashed on Pak Pat Shan Road near Redhill Plaza in Tai Tam at about 6.15pm, with the driver stuck in the damaged front part of the vehicle.
Firefighters attending the scene were able to free him.
Two passengers, a man and a woman, also suffered injuries.
All three were taken to Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital in Chai Wan.

The bus, which serves the upmarket Redhill Peninsula, appeared to have mounted the pavement before crashing into the lamp post.
