Foxconn’s Taiwan Executive Arrested in China, Accelerating Taiwanese Business Withdrawal

Recently, users on social media in China shared that Foxconn Interconnect Technology (FIT), a subsidiary of Taiwan’s Zhen Ding Technology Holding, is planning to relocate its Kunshan factory to Vietnam. Videos showed wooden crates piled up at the factory entrance, with several trucks loading goods for transport. Users expressed their thoughts, noting that the factory, which once employed tens of thousands, has seen a significant decline. They added, “If you want to handle foreign orders, you have to go to Vietnam. In China, only the orders no one else wants are left.”
