The chaotic scenes of villagers swarming fields to grab crops have recently gained widespread attention, highlighting a growing issue in rural China. On October 16, an incident in Caijiapozhen in Shaanxi Province drew particular concern. After large machines harvested corn from the fields, dozens of villagers began collecting leftovers. Despite attempts to stop them, the farm owner resorted to driving a pickup truck into the field, setting off fireworks on the back, and firing them into the air, forcing the crowd to retreat to the edges of the field.
