Xiong’an New Area’s first commercial complex, the Outlet Mall, opened on December 30, 2023. Located at the heart of Xiong’an’s CBD, it offers everything from jewelry and clothing to home appliances. However, nine months after opening, the mall remains empty. Many stores are vacant, and apart from the staff, not a single customer can be seen. The entire mall is silent.
