A recent report from China Merchants Bank and Bain & Company found that among 20,000 wealthy Chinese individuals with investable assets over 100 million yuan, 27% have already emigrated. Another 47% are considering it.
The fact that 74% of the super-rich have emigrated is truly astonishing. It’s a world record that even Russia or the unstable Middle East can’t compete with.
