Typhoon “Dolphin,” the 13th typhoon of the year, made landfall near Kanmen in Zhejiang Province, at around 5:30 p.m. on August 9. Maximum winds near the center reached force 14 at the time of landfall. The storm made a second landfall along the coast of Wengyang Subdistrict in Yueqing, at around 6:40 p.m., with maximum winds near the center reaching force 13.
