The Senate Judiciary Committee’s Subcommittee on Crime and Counterterrorism holds an open hearing, “Your Data, Their Profit: The Consumer Cost of AI Surveillance Pricing,” to examine how corporations use artificial intelligence to collect personal data from consumers in order to charge them higher prices.
This hearing is scheduled to commence at 2:30 p.m. ET on Aug. 4.
