China CDC Raises COVID-19 Epidemic to Medium Level; Experts Suspect Worse Situation

The COVID-19 outbreak in mainland China rose from a low level to a medium prevalence level in the week of July 13 to July 19, according to the latest data released by Chinese health authorities.
The highest number of infections occurred among those aged 15 to 59, rather than among children and the elderly, according to the data, while the South has seen significantly higher positive rates than the North, a fact that deserves special attention, experts told The Epoch Times.
