Rubio Rescinds Legal Status of Cuban Influence Operative

U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio has revoked the legal status of a Cuban national alleged to have operated as a subversive agent for the communist regime for over a decade in influence operations on U.S. soil.
Carlos Antonio Lloga Dominguez, who was previously employed by the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the People (ICAP), which the U.S. State Department called communist Cuba’s “premier influence and intelligence front group in the United States,” is now in federal custody pending removal from the country along with his wife and son.
“This week, three Cuban nationals were apprehended by federal agents following Secretary Rubio’s termination of their legal status,” State Department spokesperson Thomas Pigott said in a statement on July 1….
