WASHINGTON—President Donald Trump is expected to make a rare trip to Camp David on May 27, gathering his cabinet for a meeting at the secluded presidential retreat in Maryland, the White House told the Epoch Times.
The plans were first reported by the New York Post. Every cabinet member, including outgoing Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, is expected to join Trump at Camp David, a White House official confirmed.
The trip could be canceled if local weather conditions change, as presidents usually travel to the mountainside retreat by helicopter.
Trump’s last visit to Camp David was in June last year, when he met with military leaders….Â
