Canadian singer-songwriter The Weeknd will perform in Hong Kong for the first time in eight years as part of the final leg of his “After Hours Til Dawn Tour”, with sources telling the South China Morning Post that the concert is set to take place at Kai Tak Sports Park in October.
Live Nation on Wednesday posted a cryptic teaser video across several regional social media accounts, including those for Hong Kong, Singapore and Thailand, with the caption: “A Foreshadowing Of The Final Leg.”
Insiders told the SCMP that The Weeknd was slated to perform at the main stadium of Kai Tak Sports Park in October.
The official teaser appeared to show The Weeknd standing on stage with his arms outstretched, but did not disclose any details about dates or venues at the time.

The Hong Kong show will mark The Weeknd’s return to the city after his last performance at AsiaWorld-Arena in 2018.
The singer, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye, is best known for hits, including “Blinding Lights”, “Starboy”, “Save Your Tears” and “Can’t Feel My Face”.

The “After Hours Til Dawn Tour” began in 2022, following the release of his albums After Hours and Dawn FM, and has since expanded across North America, Europe, Latin America and Australia.
