The submitter explained that a few days ago, while working in Hui’an, Quanzhou, Fujian, he agreed on a daily wage of 400 yuan. However, after working for five days, the factory refused to pay him. He said he “slept under a bridge for three days” and had no money to buy a ticket or for food before the New Year. In frustration, he used a lighter to set their warehouse on fire. He claimed the fire destroyed about 40,000 square meters of the warehouse, causing an estimated economic loss of 4 billion yuan.
