All eyes were fixed as the rocket neared its landing phase toward the designated recovery pad. But just a few kilometers from touchdown, a fiery explosion erupted in the sky and the rocket was seen disintegrating into a massive fireball, engulfed by thick black smoke as it crashed to the ground, scattering debris and flames.
