On Christmas Day 2025, military influencer Rick Joe posted a set of photos on Twitter.
One of them showed a “monster” sitting at a dock near Shanghai Hudong Zhonghua Shipbuilding. On its deck, towering in plain sight, were 60 vertical launch systems, a massive phased array radar, and the iconic “Ten Thousand Shots” gun.
Soon after, The War Zone, a respected U.S. military site, posted an article in shock, calling it a “missile-filled Chinese monster.” The world’s media, from Newsweek to Reddit, followed suit, all echoing the same phrase: “Pearl Harbor 2.0.”
