A cold front will begin to affect Hong Kong on Monday night, pushing temperatures to as low as 15 degrees Celsius (59 Fahrenheit) the following day, the city’s forecaster has said.
The Observatory said on Sunday that the cold front was expected to move across the coast of Guangdong from Monday evening to early Tuesday.
“Under the influence of the associated intense northeast monsoon and a broad band of clouds, it will be windy and appreciably cooler over the region by midweek,” it said.
Temperatures will be as low as 15 degrees on Tuesday before dropping even further to 14 degrees over the following two days, according to the present forecast. It will be cloudy and very dry during the day.

The Observatory added that the northeast monsoon will gradually moderate later in the week and temperatures will start to rise accordingly.
