The incident occurred on Monday night at Leung Fat House in the Cheung Fat Estate, with police first receiving a report from a resident at 9.40pm that the 47-year-old female had allegedly been attacked by a 31-year-old male suspect, after which she returned to her flat.
Officers arrived at the scene, and the woman was taken to Princess Margaret Hospital for treatment for wounds on her hands and face.
Police then received another report that the man had been found lying on the building’s terrace.

“After an initial investigation, it is believed that the suspect fell from a corridor at the building,” the force said. “The suspect was taken to Princess Margaret Hospital for treatment while in an unconscious state, where he was later certified dead.”
