A pedestrian has been killed and three others injured after a private car collided with a van in Hong Kong.

Police received a report at 3.53pm on Monday that a private car and a van collided at Po Heung Lane in Tai Po.
Three women and one man were hurt in the incident, with two left unconscious.
A 40-year-old female pedestrian was later certified dead at the scene, and another unconscious victim was rushed to the Prince of Wales Hospital in Sha Tin.
Photos circulated online showed damage to the front part of the car, while the van was on a pavement, with the body of the victim next to it covered by a white cloth.
