Recently, the U.S. Department of Justice announced the largest international drug trafficking bust in U.S. history.
On September 3, 29 defendants, including 22 Chinese nationals, 4 Chinese pharmaceutical companies, and 3 U.S. citizens, were indicted by a federal grand jury in Dayton, Ohio, for a large-scale conspiracy. The fentanyl involved in this conspiracy could have killed 70 million Americans.
