Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey Tapped as Co-Deputy FBI Director

U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi has named Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey as a co-deputy director of the FBI, where he will work alongside Dan Bongino.
Bailey will resign from his current position to assume the new role, with his resignation taking effect on Sept. 8, according to a statement issued by his office.
“My life has been defined by a call to service, and I am once again answering that call, this time at the national level. But wherever I am called, Missouri is and always will be home,” Bailey stated.
He thanked President Donald Trump and Bondi for appointing him: “I am eternally grateful for the opportunity to serve as the Co-Deputy Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation.”…
