The incident reportedly took place in March of last year while pupils from a Kwai Chung school were on a study tour in Shenzhen, the Post has learned.

Classmates allegedly filmed the boy without clothes while he was showering in a hotel bathroom, with the video circulated among pupils and posted on social media platforms.

The boy’s parents filed a report to police last year. But they reportedly got back in contact with the force recently after discovering that related images had been uploaded to social media.

According to media reports, police received the complaint in March last year and the case was handled by a Kwai Tsing district investigation team.
