Lam Cheuk-ting, 47, filed an appeal against his conviction and sentence handed down by District Court Judge Stanley Chan Kwong-chi, who last December found him and six other men guilty of taking part in the riot at Yuen Long MTR station on the night of July 21, 2019.
According to a court document made available in the High Court on Tuesday, Wan Chung-ming, Marco Yeung Long, Yip Kam-sing, and Yu Ka-ho also lodged appeals.
They were among the seven defendants who last month received jail terms ranging from two years and one month to three years and one month, with Lam getting the heaviest punishment.
A hearing at the Court of Appeal has not yet been scheduled.
